The Ithaca Concert Band is the area's community band and the official band of the City of Ithaca. Founded in 1976, the band performs free concerts throughout the year at local auditoriums and popular outdoor venues.
Some describe Janet Batch as " hilariously irreverent and heartfelt". She performs originals with a hint of the familiar, and has lovingly been referred to as "The Voice of the Hills".
